Small Group Classes

Are limited to 7 students maximum.  Due to the limited group size, we can only allow drop-in or make-up students by advanced booking only. All classes include the use of a variety of props that may include stability balls, foam rollers, fitness circles, therabands and/or arc barrels.



 

Private and Semi-private Instruction


The majority of our business is private training. We offer sessions throughout the day. Private training ensures that you, the client, get maximum results out of your session.  We offer a wide selection of Pilates exercises on the Reformer, Cadillac, and Barrel.

Privates range from $64 - $70/lesson

Semi-privates range from $34 - $40/lesson.

Pilates Classes

Back Care/Basics - a basic Pilates mat program designed to help stabilize the lumbo-pelvic region. Focus will be on balancing pelvic girdle stability with challenging abdominal, lower back, hip and gluteus exercises. Clients who have not previously done STOTT PILATES® will be introduced to the basic principles,  including breathing, body alignment, balance and a series of core abdominal and lower back strengthening movements. 

Essential* - a follow up to the Beginner level where clients are given a full range of movements designed to strengthen and stretch the body while the class flows at a comfortable pace. 

Intermediate* - for those who have mastered the Essential level and are ready for challenging movements. Clients with cervical or lumbar concerns should not participate in this level unless they are willing to modify movements. 

Advanced*- Clients must have permission by the instructor to participate in this class.

* Clients who wish to participate in our Pilates Mat classes must take the basics class or enroll in a few private sessions before proceeding into the next level unless you are well informed on the basic principles of Stott Pilates Mat work. Participation in Pilates classes is by registration only.  Due to the nature of our programs we do not encourage drop-ins. 


Reformer Class - We are pleased to offer our clients a class performed exclusively on the Stott Reformer. Designed to stretch and strengthen, a Reformer workout will leave you exhilarated and refreshed while promoting a long, lean physique.

We accept cash, cheques, interac and VISA.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: Mat classes
Classes vary in duration. Classes must have a minimum registration to run. If a class is to be cancelled, clients will be notified within 24 hours. Clients may do a make-up class in another mat class if space is available. There will be no allowances for missed Reformer class sessions. All passes expire at the end of the scheduled session. Refunds available up to the end of the first scheduled class, after which refunds are not given - no exceptions.

We no longer credit for Mat classes cancelled due to inclement weather. In the event of severe weather conditions, please call the Fitness Edge to check if the class is running.
